At-Home Medical Services From Sameday Health

A new model for medical services has been introduced by Sameday Health. Sameday Health is a healthcare provider with a presence in 13 states. From its more than 40 clinics across the country, it offers online appointment scheduling and home visits. The home visit services are “House Calls” that Sameday Health introduced as a result of realizing there was an urgent need.

The pandemic of COVID-19 led to a new way for patients to access their healthcare providers. Medical practitioners leverage technology to provide services online. Sameday Health took things a step further by introducing—or rather, reintroducing—medical services the way they used to be; via house calls.

How the New Sameday Health Services Work

When patients need medical services that are offered by Sameday Health, they access them via the website or through the app. After filling out a questionnaire, a nurse is dispatched to the patient’s home to administer the services requested. Often, the time between requesting services and having the nurse arrive is under an hour.

When the results are ready, the patient is notified via text or email. They can then log in to a private patient portal and see their results. If the results are worrying or warrant further investigation, a virtual visit with a doctor is recommended.

Patient Benefits of House Calls by Sameday Health

Because traditional doctor visits take time and effort, patients benefit greatly from the House Calls from Sameday Health. With these medical services, patients can get the care they require in the privacy and comfort of their homes, just as it used to be when doctors made house calls years ago.
